What is a surprise party without a whopper of a surprise. What most thought was just that, a surprise birthday bash were in for a shocker because Dan, owner of Public Landing Restaurant in Lockport IL, had something else up his sleeve for his lovely "bride-to-be....to-be(?)"

The Landing looked stunning. From the lighting wrapped century old beams, to the balloons hung in the loft and even iridescent purple orchids paired with soft pink roses!!! Gorgeous to say the least.

Throughout the night Dan's team at the Public Landing Restaurant created h'orderves and cocktails like you wouldn't believe. Not only pleasing to the eye but quite tasty as well. And exceptional service paired with great music from the live band. They all truly made it a night for these lovebirds to remember and I am happy to have helped capture this moment in their lives.

Engagement Pictures Joliet - Raquel + Colin

Well, the BIG day is here and these two love birds will be tying the knot in just a few hours at the lovely Jacob Henry Mansion right here in Joliet.

Colin is a huge hunter so getting into the forest with some gear seemed quite necessary... quite the catch there Colin :)

Joliet Wedding Photography - Kind Words

I was doing some tidying up and came upon a nice card from newlyweds Aleesha and Tony. They had an absolutely beautiful wedding ceremony at Old Central Church in Joliet IL (which is actually part of the Jacob Henry Mansion) and a stunning reception following out at Homer Glen's DiNolfo's Banquets.

These two were a total blast from day one and I am so thankful and privileged to create their amazing engagement photos as well as have had the opportunity to document their lovely wedding day and get to know them as a couple.

Joliet IL Engagement Photos

I love Spring time. It's just great. The smells, the colors, the life all around in nature... except for mosquitoes that is. Regardless, those pesky critters couldn't keep these two from creating some stunning engagement pictures although I was almost carried away. From park to ruins to picnic to downtown these two were up for it all. And with a winter wedding at Joliet's Old Central Church soon on the way a Spring engagement session seems much deserved in my eyes. Aside from this super cool couple and what seems like an awesome wedding right around the corner I will be quite happy to not see any insects.

Elmurst IL Engagement Photos- Chicago Wedding Photography

Having never been to Elmhurst College I wasn't quite sure what to expect of holding an engagement session on campus so I stopped in a bit early and was pleasantly surprised when I saw what was available to us. These two lovebirds met here while attending school and became engaged at this very spot. Stories like these always bring a smile to my face. He had it all planned out with their family hiding behind bushes and his lady being totally caught off guard. Good stuff!
