Man do I love Fall time in the Chicago area. The air is crisp, the trees look stunning... I just love it. Duey and Dave seemed to feel the same way as I and wanted their engagement photos held outside to take advantage of all the colors. Awesome, I had the perfect spot in mind for such a thing and here are the results which were shot just across the river from Joliet IL. These two were a total blast to work with and were up for anything. Climb a wall, no prob! Hike into the woods, game on! Get frisky? Hey, that was Dave's idea : )
Now mind you, I prefer to take a slightly different approach with my photography and engagement pics are the same. I aim to make them a tad more personal, more of a lifestyle shoot if you will. Of course we do portraits but I also like to incorporate some fun shots as well as intimate images and if at all possible mix in some great locations that will really set apart these images from any others, after all, this is an engagement session. They should be one-of-a-kind. Its the pre-cursor to the "big" day! Let's make it count!
