Ok, so this is a tad on the late side for being posted but better late than never right? Right? Well the popular SPEED program Pinks All Out visited Joliet's Route 66 Raceway earlier this summer to film an episode on grassroots racers. Long story short, when the smoke finally settled Justin Ford was crowned the winner with his 1970 Chevelle which was nestled into the 8.5-9 second group. 
For this issue's shoot I wanted to capture the sunset in the background while it lit up the field behind to help pull the golden orange color of the car into the scheme of things. Of course, Gearhead girl Kelly really helped pull things together as well. Well, the Oct/Nov issue is coming soon and will replace this one so race to a news-stand and grab yourself a copy before to read more about this wicked ride and see more photos from this shoot.
